Permanent Tooth Gems
Lets get something clear – tooth gems are great, they let you really coordinate and match the colors you are wearing, they are unique, and there are loads to choose from.
BUT are you really ready for a permanent tooth gem? Permanent means forever.
The tooth gems you use when you go out clubbing simply stick on – permanent tooth gems are NOT held on with glue. Let me explain…
First, they drill into the desired tooth. Then the gem is inserted into the hole (or a extruding part of the gem) and it is fixed into position using Ultraviolet adhesive – the same permanent stuff they use for fillings and caps.
This means that even if you DO want to remove the gem – you’re not going to be able to do it on your own – you will have to go to your dentist, who will have to remove it, and then do something about the hole that is left behind (probably by a porcelain cap).
You should also think about what career you are going to go into – if you are going to be a party planner, hip-hop/rock/etc star, or just generally don’t care – the choice is yours. But if you are thinking of becoming a lawyer, doctor, teacher, or a sensible professional job – it may not be as desired in years to come.
